Tuesday Night Call...Notes

Welcome Everyone! I am so excited to share with you my thoughts and feelings about tonight’s topic: Moving into a new me….

I bought this little Girl’s night journal at a thrift store a few months ago. I love journals. I probably write about 6 journals a year and that is not 6 entries. That is front to back, all pages filled cover to cover 6 journals. I love looking at journals. Anyways, as I was looking through this today I stopped because it was interesting how they broke down a Girl’s Night entry. They gave specific topics to write about. One of those topics was “Getting Ready” underneath this heading is a definition, “Makeup and hair do’s and don’ts”. I loved it! Make a list of do’s and don’ts...who would do that? Well it occurred to me we do.

I thought to myself how perfect that is for tonight's topic. I have been feeling as the majority of you might be feeling the overwhelming fear of not having enough money. I have been pondering this for the last two weeks. Not that I don’t have enough, but how it is playing a factor in my life.

Let me explain…

Richard Carlson wrote the book Don’t worry, Make money. In this book he said something that really hit home for me and I have been trying to take it to heart. He said, “Until you eliminate worry and fear, it is very difficult to implement any strategy for success.” Let me say that again. “Until you eliminate worry and fear, it is very difficult to implement any strategy for success.”

He went onto say, “Money is ‘circulation.’ it needs to flow. When you are frightened, selfish, or when you hoard everything for yourself, you literally stop the circulation. you create ‘clogged pipes,’ making it difficult to keep money flowing back in your direction. Any success you have is despite your lack of giving, not because of it. the way to get the flow going again is to start giving, Be generous. Pay others well, tip your waitress that extra dollar. Support several charities. Give back. Watch what happens! Things will start popping up out of nowhere.”

Our thoughts and actions have everything to do with who we are, where we are going and who we become. How amazing is this?

You might have had this question asked to you or you might have asked it yourself. “Do you think it’s too late for me? (To do whatever it is).” The answer I read in 7 habits of highly effective people is, “It’s only too late if you don’t start!”

“I’d like to double my income in the next year.” Ever hear that or said it. I know I have had “if only’s” in my life. When you hear someone say that do you watch their actions to see what they are doing to achieve that. Are you watching yourself?

Do you hide from the mirror of self evaluation or do you look at it head on and see the improving possibilities before you?

Do we make excuses on why we have not achieved those goals we set for ourselves?

Do we make goals?

If you haven’t made a goal then do it. Give yourself a reward if you achieve it! Spoil yourself you deserve it!

These last two weeks i have really been thinking about how much I have personally grown and my team. I have been in Doterra for 7 months now. I have a team of over 20 people. I am now receiving checks every week. I am so excited for the growth. When I started Doterra I got stuck in a negative rut from people around me. I did not understand what was happening or how to get out of it. We all were here in Florida. Sometime within a months time we found out about these mentor calls. These calls  were a blessing and overwhelming need flood this area and I would think it was the same for others.

This morning, Tamalu asked us to think about whether or not we wanted to continue these calls when the ninety days are up.

I knew my answer and I had already spoken to Natalie about this subject numerous times. We know without a shadow of a doubt that it is because of these calls that we are building strong, sturdy teams. We are growing leaps and bounds and their is no limit for what we are seeing for our teams. We hope everyone has this goal. The limit is endless.

These call are a lifeline to support, guidance and an abundant directory of amazing individuals in Doterra.

We need each other! We are successful because of all of these factors. Live, think, and feel abundant in the Doterra family, we all belong here.

Thank you so much for joining us tonight! Any thoughts or questions!

Eating healthy!

Eating Healthy has become a chore!!!

We are heard eat healthy from doctors, family, friends and their concerns are valid. Today's food is loaded with so many preservatives, poisons, and destructive means to demolish our bodies in numerous ways. When you get down to where diseases come from or are developed it is from what we eat. This is one of the reasons why I became a raw vegan.

I have shared my story when Darius, my amazing hubby was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Cancer is scary when we don't know what we are dealing with. A good friend of mine told me once that diagnosis are for the benefit for the doctors and medical field. This allows them to practice/ treat where they are comfortable, because this is what they know. I am not saying this is a bad thing, but on the same token each person is different and needs to be treated differently. One diagnosis is not necessarily the same symptoms of someone else's same diagnosis.

I wanted to share some thoughts with you on how we can look at different things that come our way with food. I will be listing a recipe or to that is raw so you can try them yourself. I love working with raw foods. I no longer need to worry about cross contamination. We also buy organic or clean grown food so that we can hopefully minimize the impact of poisons and toxins.

Our bodies are subject to toxins all of the time. This can happen through the environment, food, and emotions. I found this picture and really thought is was important for me to share, considering that some if not all of us who read this blog are health conscious and using essential oils in their lives.

We need to be aware of what we are absorbing into our skin. I have for years had a sensitivity to SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) and SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfates). This is in your hair products and so many more. My head would itch and I would develop dandruff really bad. The itching would be so bad I would develop scabs from the scratching. I knew I had a reaction and since going raw vegan I have had some interesting issues pop up with the things I cannot use because my body will not allow me to.

I wanted to bring this to your attention, because we need to protect our bodies. I believe my body is a temple of God. I know He gave it to us to protect us, not to destroy us. We need to make wise choices on what we come in contact with.

Refine and substitute sugars, white flour, sodas, etc are harmful for our bodies because they do nothing for our body except tare it down, destroy or mutate our cells in our bodies.

We want and need to protect our cells. They do so much, are responsible for so much and are working so hard for us to survive.

RECIPES:

Sweet Cream
1 Cup Cashews (soaked and blended)
1/4 Cup Honey
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
2 drops of Wild Orange essential oil

This can be placed over any fruit you want. This is amazingly awesome stuff!

Serenity Grapefruit Juice
1 QT of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
1 or 2 drops of Serenity essential oil

I love this juice. It is so refreshing and it is a marvelous way to get oils into your system.

Also, I would be very remiss if I did not tell you about Cilantro essential oil is a great detox for heavy metals. I love all my oils. DDR is for Damaged DNA Repair. These oils are absolutely amazing and can benefit us in so many ways.

Let's not forget about emotional toxins. They are dangerous more than anything else. I say this because when we are around negative influences, believe and live in negativity we weaken our immunity. Take depression, this is a deadly mental illness. It kills people daily. How sad is that? Why not use essential oils or eat better to help process these feelings. When we eliminate the unnecessary products from our system we can be real with our emotions. We have nicknamed these as Raw Emotions. They are feelings coming from deep with in and are sometimes hard to deal with. These issues can be resolved with work and loving yourself. Try the Serenity Grapefruit juice! Serenity is amazing and I have spoken on this before.

These are just a few essential thoughts for you chew on! Have a beautiful day!!!
