Eating healthy!

Eating Healthy has become a chore!!!

We are heard eat healthy from doctors, family, friends and their concerns are valid. Today's food is loaded with so many preservatives, poisons, and destructive means to demolish our bodies in numerous ways. When you get down to where diseases come from or are developed it is from what we eat. This is one of the reasons why I became a raw vegan.

I have shared my story when Darius, my amazing hubby was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Cancer is scary when we don't know what we are dealing with. A good friend of mine told me once that diagnosis are for the benefit for the doctors and medical field. This allows them to practice/ treat where they are comfortable, because this is what they know. I am not saying this is a bad thing, but on the same token each person is different and needs to be treated differently. One diagnosis is not necessarily the same symptoms of someone else's same diagnosis.

I wanted to share some thoughts with you on how we can look at different things that come our way with food. I will be listing a recipe or to that is raw so you can try them yourself. I love working with raw foods. I no longer need to worry about cross contamination. We also buy organic or clean grown food so that we can hopefully minimize the impact of poisons and toxins.

Our bodies are subject to toxins all of the time. This can happen through the environment, food, and emotions. I found this picture and really thought is was important for me to share, considering that some if not all of us who read this blog are health conscious and using essential oils in their lives.

We need to be aware of what we are absorbing into our skin. I have for years had a sensitivity to SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) and SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfates). This is in your hair products and so many more. My head would itch and I would develop dandruff really bad. The itching would be so bad I would develop scabs from the scratching. I knew I had a reaction and since going raw vegan I have had some interesting issues pop up with the things I cannot use because my body will not allow me to.

I wanted to bring this to your attention, because we need to protect our bodies. I believe my body is a temple of God. I know He gave it to us to protect us, not to destroy us. We need to make wise choices on what we come in contact with.

Refine and substitute sugars, white flour, sodas, etc are harmful for our bodies because they do nothing for our body except tare it down, destroy or mutate our cells in our bodies.

We want and need to protect our cells. They do so much, are responsible for so much and are working so hard for us to survive.

RECIPES:

Sweet Cream
1 Cup Cashews (soaked and blended)
1/4 Cup Honey
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
2 drops of Wild Orange essential oil

This can be placed over any fruit you want. This is amazingly awesome stuff!

Serenity Grapefruit Juice
1 QT of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
1 or 2 drops of Serenity essential oil

I love this juice. It is so refreshing and it is a marvelous way to get oils into your system.

Also, I would be very remiss if I did not tell you about Cilantro essential oil is a great detox for heavy metals. I love all my oils. DDR is for Damaged DNA Repair. These oils are absolutely amazing and can benefit us in so many ways.

Let's not forget about emotional toxins. They are dangerous more than anything else. I say this because when we are around negative influences, believe and live in negativity we weaken our immunity. Take depression, this is a deadly mental illness. It kills people daily. How sad is that? Why not use essential oils or eat better to help process these feelings. When we eliminate the unnecessary products from our system we can be real with our emotions. We have nicknamed these as Raw Emotions. They are feelings coming from deep with in and are sometimes hard to deal with. These issues can be resolved with work and loving yourself. Try the Serenity Grapefruit juice! Serenity is amazing and I have spoken on this before.

These are just a few essential thoughts for you chew on! Have a beautiful day!!!
